Quadraspire performance HiFi rack configurator

A custom HiFi rack configurator built for Quadraspire, an award-winning global player in the performance HiFi rack industry, is a great example of a custom lightweight web coding that allows website visitors and HiFi dealers to easily build individual HiFi racks, with some racks having over 3,500 possible configurations.

We designed it so visitors can see a visual digital representation of the racks as they are built within the web coding. This allows them to confirm the sizes and the visual aesthetics of their desired HiFi rack. Visitors can also create and download a screenshot of their chosen HiFi rank they have designed, before placing their order

This custom build option is available for all 8 of their HiFi racks. Individual orders are directly sent to dealers across the world. Light-weight mobile-friendly code runs quickly and integrates into the Quadraspire website, helping visitors with designing and ordering bespoke custom HiFi racks.

Designed for the visitor

Visitors are guided through the build stages, selecting the material, columns and feet. At this stage, a visual of the performance HiFi rack appears and can be adjusted live from the HiFi feet onwards, allowing the visitor to visualise their bespoke configuration.

The visual representation of the performance HiFi rack also includes the individual spacing between the shelves to help the visitor know the space will allow for their HiFi equipment to fit.

Dynamic Pricing and Height

As the performance HiFi rack is built and modified, the total height is updated live, including the total price for the rack, meaning the visitor can have total control building a performance HiFi rack that is at the size and price they expect.

Unless you request an interface you can access for editing, most custom coding is not set up to be edited by the customer. This is because you need software to edit code and the coding knowledge to complete the task required. Creating an interface for you to edit is possible but does come with additional cost and timescale to create. If you are only requiring minor amendments, say once a year, it would often be more cost-effective to get us to make those edits for you without the additional costs of an interface.

There are two main areas custom web code can add additional cost once they are live:

Custom coding solutions are created from code and supported files. If these files take you above your hosting allowance, then we would charge for the additional hosting web space that is used.
If the custom code requires maintenance or updates for functionality or security, we will charge for the time taken to either assess, fix or apply the necessary code. Of course if you take out one of our servicing agreements for your custom code via our custom website packages, this would be listed and covered as part of your annual service plan.
